Content of Punjab GNM Merit List 2022
Registered candidates must check their name serial number & category-wise. If a candidate has registered for a particular course and his/her name not appear on the list, then they are not eligible to participate in the counseling round. In case, if the name appears, then he/she need to report to the college along with the necessary documents. Punjab GNM Merit List 2022 will contain the following details.- Candidate name

Documents Verification at Punjab GNM
After the Merit List has been released, the selected candidates will have to physically visit the Punjab GNM for the document verification. In the document verification process, candidates are required to carry the documents below on the day of reporting to the college.- HSC Mark Sheet (Original)
- Leaving certificate (Original)
- Original migration certificate (if the candidate is from other states/board)
- Original caste certificate (if applicable)
- Gap certificate original (if applicable)
- Birth certificate/ Domicile (Certificate for outside of Maharashtra students)

About Punjab GNM
It is felt that the time has come when the interests of the increasing number of trained nurses, health visitors, midwives, nurse, dais and trained dais and of their clientele should be protected and this can be best achieved by the registration and proper control of such nurses, health visitors, midwives, nurse, dais and trained dais. Moreover, registration in itself supplied an incentive to take training and thereby improves professional standards. It is accordingly proposed to enact measures on the lines of the law in force in Great Britain where there is a Council which deals with various questions relating to nurses, such as the training examination, registration, etc. of nurses and their removal from the register maintained under the authority of the Council. Provision also exists in the English Act forbidding any unregistered person from practicing nurse and also penalizing the use by an unregistered nurse of any title of name suggesting that such nurse is registered nurse.
The Madras Nurse and Midwives Act 1926, which is based on English Act, has already been passed into law, and a Bill for the Punjab has been made on the provisions of the English and Madras Acts”
How does Punjab GNM Merit List 2022 is Prepared?
Based on various factors, such as marks in the qualifying examination, number of seat availability and number of applicants, the official admissions authority of the college prepares and publishes the merit list of Punjab GNM. The preparation of merit list for admission to UG courses is based on marks in the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) examination. The college does not conduct any entrance examination for admission.
