Jomo Kenyatta's story 'The Gentlemen of the Jungle' is a fable that satirizes the colonization of Africa by European powers, who claim to have reformed the natives, while in reality, they limit them because of the greed for expansion. give. The unjust man has no choice but to build a new hut as he fears that the mighty beasts of the commission will be cruel to him. However, the story of the man's grief does not end with the elephant. The next hut he builds is taken over by Mr. Rhinoceros, another animal of the commission, and the same verdict is awaited. Even then his situation is no better as all the huts he has built are usurped by the other members of the commission: Mr. Buffalo, Mr. Leopard and Mr. Hyena.
