कहानी एक पालतू जानवर और दादा के बीच के रिश्ते की है। दादाजी ने अपने शिकार अभियान पर एक बाघ शावक पाया और उसका नाम टिमोथी रखा। तीमुथियुस को दो साथी दिए गए, एक बंदर और एक पिल्ला। जैसे-जैसे तीमुथियुस बढ़ता गया उसका दृष्टिकोण भी बदलता गया। वह कम मिलनसार हो गया, एक बिल्ली का पीछा करने के लिए चुरा लिया, और पूरे बरामदे में पंख भी पड़े थे। दादी ने तीमुथियुस के व्यवहार के बारे में चेतावनी दी कि एक दिन वह रसोइया खा सकता है तीमुथियुस के व्यवहार में इन सभी आरोपों से दादाजी ने टिमोथी को एक चिड़ियाघर में स्थानांतरित करने का फैसला किया।

टिमोथी की निमोनिया से मौत हो गई थी। इस बाघ को दो महीने पहले पकड़ा गया था जो कि खतरनाक था। अचानक दादाजी इस बात से चौंक गए, उन्होंने हाथ वापस लिया और टाइगर को 'अलविदा' कहकर जल्दी से चले गए। अंत में, वह 'अलविदा तीमुथियुस' कहता है क्योंकि वह अभी भी बाघ को अपनी तीमुथियुस के रूप में सोचता है, बिना कीपर की बातों पर भरोसा किए।

The story is about the relationship between a pet and a grandfather. Grandfather found a tiger cub on his hunting expedition and named him Timothy. Timothy was given two companions, a monkey and a puppy. As Timothy grew, his outlook changed as well. He became less sociable, stole to chase a cat, and had feathers all over the porch. Grandmother warns about Timothy's behavior that one day he might eat the cook. All these accusations in Timothy's behavior make Grandpa decide to transfer Timothy to a zoo.

After 6 months Grandfather went to the zoo. Grandpa went straight to the cage where Timothy was and continued stroking and slapping him for five minutes. As it was getting dark, it was time to say 'Goodbye'. The zoo keeper recognized Dada and the keeper said that it was not his tiger.

 

Timothy had died of pneumonia. This tiger was caught two months ago which was dangerous. Suddenly Grandfather was shocked by this, he withdrew his hand and hurried away saying 'goodbye' to Tiger. In the end, he says 'goodbye Timothy' because he still thinks of the tiger as his own Timothy, without trusting the keeper's words.
