छठी कक्षा के लड़के परीक्षा हॉल से बाहर आए। आकाश ने तरुण से पूछा कि उसने गणित का पेपर कैसे लिखा। तरुण ने उत्तर दिया कि यह कठिन था लेकिन उन्होंने सभी प्रश्नों का कुछ हद तक संतोषजनक उत्तर दिया था। तभी नकुल बाहर आया। उनका मूड खराब था। जब आकाश ने उससे पूछा तो उसने उत्तर दिया कि उसने अपना अधिकांश समय कठिन प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने में व्यतीत किया है और आसान प्रश्नों के उत्तर देने के लिए समय नहीं मिला। आकाश ने उसे सांत्वना देते हुए कहा कि यह अंतिम परीक्षा नहीं है। उसने नकुल को अगली बार तेजी से लिखने का सुझाव दिया या अपनी घड़ी को दस मिनट आगे सेट करने का सुझाव दिया ताकि वह सभी समस्याओं का समाधान कर सके। नकुल ने गुस्से में जवाब दिया कि उनके लिए सुझाव देना आसान है।

The boys of class VI came out of the examination hall. Akash asks Tarun how he wrote the maths paper. Tarun replied that it was difficult but he had answered all the questions somewhat satisfactorily. Then Nakul came out. He was in a bad mood. When Akash asked him he replied that he had spent most of his time in answering difficult questions and did not get time to answer easy questions. Akash consoles her and says that this is not the final test. He suggested Nakula to write faster next time or to set his clock ahead by ten minutes so that he could solve all the problems. Nakul angrily replied that it is easy for him to suggest.

Akash was a lame boy. He joined the boarding school towards the end of the term. Akash woke up that night and found Nakula sitting on his bed. She asks Nakul what is wrong. Nakul was worried thinking that he had forgotten to write his name or roll number on his answer sheet. Akash took him to his teacher Mr. Varghese. Nakul tells him about his doubts. A few days later the boys were getting ready to celebrate the annual school day. Nakul was given an important role in a play. Nakul was nervous as he had to learn many lines. Akash promises to help her and with Akash's help Nakul learns everything. Nakul did a good job in the play. He thanked Akash for the help. The next day they went on a picnic. Nakul announces that it is going to rain.

Akash replied that it would be a nice sunny day. She asks Nakul why he always looks at things with a negative perspective. He advised her not to spoil other people's happiness with her pessimistic thoughts. An angry Nakul left Akash and went to other friends. As predicted by Akash, the day was fine and everyone enjoyed it except Nakula.

Nakul was hiding behind some rocks. He overheard his teachers talking about Akash. Mr. Varghese praised Akash because he was always happy despite his disability. The sports teacher listened to him and said that he likes Akash for his courage. Akash's parents did not want to admit him to a boarding school and wanted to make him aware of the difficulties of boarding school life. But, Akash had insisted that he would enroll in a boarding school. The teachers thought that Akash was a good example to other students with his cheerful attitude.

This conversation made Nakul realize his mistake and recognize Akash's good qualities. He recalled the instances when Akash had helped him. Nakul understood that Akash's cheerful, positive attitude helped Akash live happily ever after. Nakul also admitted that his constant grumbling must have been bothering others. He decided to develop a positive attitude towards all things. He went and apologized to Akash for his rude behavior. Nakul asks Akash how he remains happy despite his disability, which did not allow him to join and play with others.

Akash confessed that he felt sad at first but when he listened to his grandmother's advice, he decided to be happy always and spread happiness in his own way. Akash's grandmother had said that if he was always sad no one would cry with him, he would not be alone if he was brave and happy, he would always have a silver lining and even if the day was gloomy and gloomy, there would always be a last Brighter tomorrow than a dull day.
