यूसुफ ने अजनबी का मनोरंजन किया। सुबह-सुबह उसने अजनबी को जगाया और उसे पैसे और अपना सबसे तेज़ घोड़ा दिया ताकि वह (अजनबी) अपने पीछा करने वालों से बच सके। जबकि कठोरता केवल कठोर होती, यह अनदेखी - दयालुता ने उसे पूरी तरह से अभिभूत कर दिया और उसका स्वभाव बदल दिया। अपने मेजबान (मजबूत) की आत्मा की भव्यता अतिथि (अजनबी) के स्तन में प्रवेश कर गई और शेख के हाथों पर चिल्लाते हुए, अजनबी फट गया; "यह सब तू ने उस इब्राहीम से किया जिसने तेरे पुत्र को घात किया।"

युसूफ उस अजनबी से नाराज़ नहीं था, बल्कि उसने उसे सोने की मात्रा का तीन गुना दिया और उससे कहा कि बदला लेने के बावजूद, जो उसके दिल में दिन रात जल गया था, काले रंग से बचने के लिए। उसके पुत्र का प्रतिशोध उस अंगारों की आग से लिया गया जो इस प्रकार दोषी व्यक्ति के सिर पर डाली गई थी।

Yusuf was not angry with the stranger, but instead gave him three times the amount of gold and told him to avoid the black color, despite the revenge that had burned in his heart day and night. The vengeance of his son was taken by the fire of the embers which were thus thrown on the head of the guilty person.

The poem emphasizes on the virtues of kindness and generosity that lead us to happiness in life, the poet sums up the central idea of his poem in the following lines;

"As one lamp ignites another, neither grows less, so greatness awakens greatness". Everything obeys God and certainly not for individuals this is the idea.
