We can use recyclable glass to store jam, honey, pickles, nut, butters, etc. We can use paper bags or cloth bags instead of plastic bags. Wooden things can replace plastic in household items like cleaning brushes, kitchen utensils, and cutting boards. Cardboard can be used for packing.

If we do not find alternatives for single use plastic, our environment will be spoiled. So we should take care of it.

TREES
Importance of tree plantation is insisted upon right from pur school days because planting trees is not only good for us but for the entire universe.

Tree plantation is given so much importance because Of its varied benefits.

Some of the significant benefits are listed below:

  1. Trees inhale carbofi dioxide and various other harmful gases and exhale oxygen which is needed for human beings to survive.
  2. Trees act as the source of food and shelter for birds, animals and also human beings.
  3. Trees help in preventing soil erosion, thereby improving the fertility of soil.

Ways to Emphasize the Importance of Tree Plantation :
Today many schools, colleges and even business organizations are allocating few days of the year exclusively for planting trees. This is a good initiative and must be encouraged in order to make people aware about the importance of tree plantation.

A Lesson For All Summary

Mr. Vamsi was waiting for the newspaper. Mrs. Rupa and others were waiting for their milkman. They did not understand why the paper boy and the milkman were late. Meanwhile, they found a lot of litter and garbage on their street. At the same time, Mrs. Geetha’s daughter Kalyani got injured because of a broken glass bottle. Dr. Swathi dressed the wound and Kalyani was fine. By that time, the newspaper boy, the milkman, the hawker and bus driver arrived at the place on their foot as there was a lot of garbage on the road. They thought that it was not safe for them. They informed the mayor of the town.
The mayor came and was shocked to see the litter on the road. Suddenly the animals entered the scene and told them that they were responsible for spreading the garbage all over the town. The animals said that human beings spoiled the forests which were their dwelling places. So they decided to give all the rubbish back to human beings.

The Little Boy and The Old Man Poem Summary

One can sympathise with the little boy and the old man as they are neglected by others in life. The fact that both of them dropped their spoons, shows that they are clumsy, wet their pants and cry show that they cannot control their body and emotions. They thus have the same bad habits and find themselves quite similar with only a difference which is age.

Once the boy said that the grown-ups don’t pay attention to him, the old mkn held his hand tightly as he had also gone through the exact same thing as the boy, being neglected. The old man understands how the little boy feels and used actions to convey the message that he is also in the same boat as the boy. The old man can be seen to be the future when he is of no use and others, for example his children, leave him alone as they are busy contributing to the society that they forgot about him.

The little boy could be seen as the past when he has not learnt many things in life yet and others, for example his parents, also neglect him as he too, is of no contribution to the society and the parents have to work. In this poem you can see the similarities in their habits but also the fact that they are left alone, neglected by the adult population because of work. The old man represents what the future would be like and the little boy, the past. That is what makes them different.
