Content of TDB College Merit List 2022
Registered candidates must check their name serial number & category-wise. If a candidate has registered for a particular course and his/her name not appear on the list, then they are not eligible to participate in the counseling round. Documents Verification at TDB College
After the Merit List has been released, the selected candidates will have to physically visit the TDB College for the document verification. In the document verification process, candidates are required to carry the documents below on the day of reporting to the college.- HSC Mark Sheet (Original)

About TDB College
Triveni Devi Bhalotia College (TDBC) commenced its journey from 1957 as a UGC registered College [under 2(f) and (12b)], affiliated under the University of Calcutta & accredited by NAAC. The institution initiated its establishment under the affiliation of the University of Calcutta. However, it became affiliated to the University of Burdwan in 1960. Presently the College came under the aegis of Kazi Nazrul University on 24th June, 2015. The College is a co-educational institution which is run in two sections – Morning section and Day section.
Over the years the college has consolidated its position as a premier institution in the state of West Bengal imparting learning in diverse areas of Humanities, Commerce and Basic Sciences. Emerging Subjects in the field of Applied Sciences such as Computer Science, Electronic Science, Biochemistry, Psychology, Food & Nutrition are given due emphasis. Several Post graduation degree courses that teaches to specialize in specific fields aims to explore the horizon of knowledge among students. Such specialization will help to place students in various research fields, jobs as well as entrepreneurships. Also to be mentioned that several other courses are in the pipe line which are to be initiated soon.
The philosophy of education as imparted by the College gets translated into its somewhat advanced academic structure. Grounded to the fact of reality, TDBC has sought to avoid the narrowly conceived structure of conventional education, preferring instead to bring allied and applied disciplines within the broad spectrum of its academic wing, under whose ambit of supervision pupils can opt any subjects of their own choice. There are also Special Centres that are outside even this broad structures, called Jionkathi, that extends the teaching-learning process among primary school children.
Teaching Versatility
Triveni Devi Bhalotia College offers UG courses under four streams : Humanities, Science & Commerce and Education. It also offers PG courses in three streams : Humanities, Science & Commerce. Besides it provides training in NSS and NCC. At present there are 28 Under-graduation courses and 7 Post-graduation courses.
Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction are mainly English and Bengali. Also, students are free to opt courses in other vernacular languages, such as Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu.
Shifts of Courses
Triveni Devi Bhalotia College has two shifts:
- ❶ Morning Session (7:00am-12:00am) for B.Com [co-educational basis].
- ❷ Day Session (9:00am-5:00pm) for B.A, B.Sc and several PG courses [co-educational basis].
How does TDB College Merit List 2022 is Prepared?
Based on various factors, such as marks in the qualifying examination, number of seat availability and number of applicants, the official admissions authority of the college prepares and publishes the merit list of TDB College. The preparation of merit list for admission to UG courses is based on marks in the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) examination. The college does not conduct any entrance examination for admission.
