The Bankura University Merit List 2022 for UG/PG Courses will be available soon. However, many candidates should be confused as to how to check the Bankura University 2022 Provisional List. You can check the complete process to check the 2022 merit list below-
Registered candidates must check their name serial number & category-wise. If a candidate has registered for a particular course and his/her name not appear on the list, then they are not eligible to participate in the counseling round. In case, if the name appears, then he/she need to report to the college along with the necessary documents. Bankura University Merit List 2022 will contain the following details.
After the Merit List has been released, the selected candidates will have to physically visit the Bankura University for the document verification. In the document verification process, candidates are required to carry the documents below on the day of reporting to the college.

Bankura University was established by the West Bengal Act XIX of 2013 and the assent of the Governor was first published in the Kolkata Gazette, Extraordinary, of 6th January, 2014.

Bankura, historically known as Mallabhum, can truly boast of a rich heritage of traditional cultural excellence. It is evident in its traditional Dokra art, the intellectual and artistic triumphs of the 18th-century mathematician Subhankar (the well-known Subhankari Arya), the temple town of Bishnupur and the artistic contributions of Jamini Roy and Ramkinkar Bej.

SCHOOL OF SCIENCE:
DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS
The M.Sc. programme in Mathematics shall be of 2 years’ duration, consisting of 4 semesters, each of 6 months’ duration. At the end of each semester, the examination will be held. For MSc degree in Mathematics, students admitted to the programme will have to pass all the semesters. Total marks of the programme is 1000 with 250 marks in each semester comprising 5 papers with 50 marks in each paper. For theoretical papers 10% marks will be allotted for internal assessments.
DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS (Puabagan Campus)
The M.Sc. Programme in Physics shall be of 2 years' duration, consisting of 4 semesters, each of 6 months' duration.Total marks of the programme is 1200 with 300 marks in each semester comprising 6 papers with 50 marks in each paper.The Department is well equipped with necessary facilities and resources for teaching and higher learning.Faculty-student collaboration is highly valued in the Department.
DEPARTMENT OF CHEMISTRY (Puabagan Campus)
The M.Sc. Programme in Chemistry shall be of 2 years' duration, consisting of 4 semesters, each of 6 months' duration.Total marks of the programme is 1200 with 300 marks in each semester comprising 6 papers with 50 marks in each paper.Chemistry covers broadly three branches, viz. Organic, Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. However, today’s scientific world demands scientists to think across disciplines; consequently there are numerous sub-branches of Chemistry such as environmental chemistry, analytical chemistry, industrial chemistry, green chemistry, biochemistry, Nano chemistry, biophysical chemistry, catalysis and many more.
Based on various factors, such as marks in the qualifying examination, number of seat availability and number of applicants, the official admissions authority of the college prepares and publishes the merit list of Bankura University. The preparation of merit list for admission to UG courses is based on marks in the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) examination. The college does not conduct any entrance examination for admission. Students can sit for counseling on the basis of Bankura University Merit List 2022.
