UPSMFAC Final Merit List 2022 will be declared soon. The candidates whose name appear in the merit list will be called for the counseling process of UPSMFAC. Content of UPSMFAC Merit List 2022
Registered candidates must check their name serial number & category-wise. If a candidate has registered for a particular course and his/her name not appear on the list, then they are not eligible to participate in the counseling round. In case, if the name appears, then he/she need to report to the college along with the necessary documents. UPSMFAC Merit List 2022 will contain the following details.- Candidate name

Documents Verification at UPSMFAC
After the Merit List has been released, the selected candidates will have to physically visit the UPSMFAC for the document verification. In the document verification process, candidates are required to carry the documents below on the day of reporting to the college.- HSC Mark Sheet (Original)
- Leaving certificate (Original)
- Original migration certificate (if the candidate is from other states/board)
- Original caste certificate (if applicable)
- Gap certificate original (if applicable)
- Birth certificate/ Domicile (Certificate for outside of Maharashtra students)
- PAN card photocopy
- Aadhar card photocopy

About UPSMFAC
Government of Uttar Pradesh (United Provinces Government) has established “United Provinces Board of Medical Examination” in 1917, with an aim to provide standard education in the field of Medical, Nursing and Paramedical and an independent examination authority. The primary task was to conduct examinations of the students of LMP (Licenciate Medical Practioners ) of Agra Medical School , Licenciates in public health, Nursing and certain coureses in Paramedical field.
At that time the professional qualification of L.M.P. was considered not up to the standard, thus to raise the qualification and standard, recommendation for starting upgraded “Diplomas of Licenciate and Membership of State Medical Faculty, Hon. Lieutenant Governor of the Provinces has decided to establish “United Provinces State Medical Faculty” and a resolution was passed in the Legislative Council. Powers under “Indian Medical Degrees Act 1916” has also been granted by the Central Government .
State Medical Faculty used to prepare diploma holders of Licenciate of State Medical Faculty (L.S.M.F.) and Membership of State Medical Faculty (M.S.M.F.). Their standard was above the previously trained L.M.P, but below the degree courses of Medical Sciences. These diploma courses were also stopped after Medical Council of India came into the existence and the number of institution providing education in the degree courses of MBBS level increased. Since then State Medical Faculty began doing entire work related to Nursing and Paramedical courses under the power of “Indian Medical Degrees Act 1916”.
The U.P. State Medical Faculty has progressed beyond expectation. Around 400 training centers in nursing (ANM to M.Sc.) and 450 training centers in 19 courses of paramedical have come into existence. “Hon. Council of Ministers” of U.P. has also recognised U.P. State Medical Faculty to initiate opening and control the paramedical & nursing courses upto degree level. Since 1926, U.P. State Medical Faculty has been working as the first paramedical council of the country. The G.O. 4447/ 71-03-05/ 141/ 96/ 05, deptt of Medical Education , states that only those paramedical courses, for which there is no council is situated at the centre or state level, all the work regarding their regulations and control will be done by U.P. State Medical Faculty.
Government of U.P has transferred U.P. State Medical Faculty and allied councils from the Department of Medical, Health and Family welfare to the “Department of Medical Education” in 2005.

How does UPSMFAC Merit List 2022 is Prepared?
Based on various factors, such as marks in the qualifying examination, number of seat availability and number of applicants, the official admissions authority of the college prepares and publishes the merit list of UPSMFAC. The preparation of merit list for admission to UG courses is based on marks in the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) examination. The college does not conduct any entrance examination for admission. Students can sit for counseling on the basis of UPSMFAC Merit List 2022.The UPSMFAC merit list is now published. Candidates can check and download the merit list here.
