VCFW Final Merit List 2022 will be declared soon. The candidates whose name appear in the merit list will be called for the counseling process of VCFW. Firstly, the VCFW provisional merit list is released and thereafter. Admission Committee for various UG & PG Courses releases the VCFW Merit List 2022(Final).

Content of VCFW Merit List 2022
Registered candidates must check their name serial number & category-wise. If a candidate has registered for a particular course and his/her name not appear on the list, then they are not eligible to participate in the counseling round. In case, if the name appears, then he/she need to report to the college along with the necessary documents. VCFW Merit List 2022 will contain the following details.- Candidate name

Documents Verification at VCFW
After the Merit List has been released, the selected candidates will have to physically visit the VCFW for the document verification. In the document verification process, candidates are required to carry the documents below on the day of reporting to the college.- HSC Mark Sheet (Original)
- Leaving certificate (Original)
- Original migration certificate (if the candidate is from other states/board)
- Original caste certificate (if applicable)
- Gap certificate original (if applicable)
- Birth certificate/ Domicile (Certificate for outside of Maharashtra students)
- PAN card photocopy
- Aadhar card photocopy
- Passport size photograph (2 copies)
About VCFW
Vidyasagar College for Women as a full fledged separate college affiliated to the University of Calcutta was founded in 1960. However, its history went back to 1931 when a separate womens’ section of the Vidyasagar College was started to cater to the educational requirements of the women folk of Kolkata. Its classes were held in the morning. The womens’ section was temporarily brought to a stop during the second world war. Since 1947, however, expansion in all branches of its activities took place steadily and regularly. New subjects were introduced and a group of dedicated teachers inspired confidence among the students who enrolled in large numbers. Since its foundation in 1960, Vidyasagar College for Women committed itself to carry forward the ideals and principles of Pundit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar, the great educationist and social reformer of the 19th century. At present the college consists of three campuses.
All the three campuses of Vidyasagar College for Women are located at the heart of North Kolkata, the central zone of the Bengal Renaissance movement with the Calcutta University, Presidency College, Sanskrit College, Scottish Church College, Bethune College, the City group of colleges and Victoria College associated with Brahma associations close by. The residential places of the Thakurs, Rammohan Roy, Vivekananda and many other luminaries are within very short distance from our college.

How does VCFW Merit List 2022 is Prepared?
Based on various factors, such as marks in the qualifying examination, number of seat availability and number of applicants, the official admissions authority of the college prepares and publishes the merit list of VCFW. The preparation of merit list for admission to UG courses is based on marks in the Higher Secondary (Class 12th) examination. The college does not conduct any entrance examination for admission. Students can sit for counseling on the basis of VCFW Merit List 2022.The VCFW merit list is now published. Candidates can check and download the merit list here.
